The story behind the picture is devastating. 3 people dead because they were trying to get away from the horrible war and get a better happier life. This picture makes me sad but happy someone got Alan and his family’s story out to the world.In this image the story behind it was there was a fire and the fire escape gave away and “Diana Bryant, 19, and her goddaughter Tiare Jones, 2” were jumping out the window. Diana died on impact, but her body created a landing pit for Tiare allowing her to live.
